The poster looked like a couple in black and white so first thing I think of is I love Lucy.
This just shows how much of a geek I am but when my mind goes to TV it then goes to anime right after and this was my first anime so it came into my head.
Zoids was a show about giant robots which made me think of Armored Core, my favorite giant blowing stuff up video game series.
Robots are a futuristic thing so my thoughts next went to the best of futuristic sci-fi, Star Wars.
